Job description

Job Description Summary
Manufacturing Engineer responsible for supporting, optimizing, and continuously improving production operations. This role directly impacts departmental performance through the planning and execution of manufacturing initiatives, process improvements, and operational support activities. Operating with a moderate level of autonomy, the position applies established functional practices and procedures to achieve business objectives. Independent judgment and problem-solving are expected within defined parameters, with guidance available for more complex or non-routine situations.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Define and support manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment.
  • Support new product, tool, and equipment implementation from design through production.
  • Drive process improvements to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Work with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to meet business goals.
  • Use technical knowledge and data to solve production and process problems.
  • Lead or support projects that improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Follow established procedures while exercising sound judgment on day-to-day decisions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and operators.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or engineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desired Characteristics
  • Ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with large mechanical assemblies.
  • Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
