Gas and Electric Fireplace Installer
 

We are seeking a motivated, highly personable and enthusiastic Prefabricated Fireplace Installer to join our team at The Fireplace People in West Berlin, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and looking to break into the hearth industry with no prior experience necessary. As the Prefabricated Fireplace Installer, you will be the last impression of our company and will be responsible for creating a positive and memorable experience for our customers. You will have the opportunity to learn about our high-quality products and help customers turn their design ideas from dreams into reality. You will have the chance to work with a supportive and collaborative team and develop your professional skills as you strive to exceed customer expectations. Compensation:
$22 hourly, Monday - Thursday 7am until completion
 
Responsibilities:
 
·         Build good rapport with on-site customers while on site.
·         Managing your schedule & time to efficiently complete jobs.
·         Use Company Vehicle to travel to job sites. 
·         Filling out pre & post paperwork on time & in detail
·         Keep track of on-site issues and report them to appropriate individuals if you can’t resolve them.
·         Provide feedback if you have new ideas that will improve our current process.
·         Perform various logistical task when needed.
·         Maintaining organization with your Tools/Vehicle/Files.
·         Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
·         Physically able to carry 75 lbs up steps.
·         Climbing and working on ladders, roofs and heights in excess of 25’
 
 
Qualifications:
  • Polite and personable demeanor
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers
  • Proven record of building customer relationships
  • U.S. work authorization and valid Driver’s License
  • Previous sales experience (preferred, but not required)
  • Current Driver's License with clean driving record
