Job description

Abacus is looking to hire a Product Integrity Supervisor in the Memphis, TN area.

The Product Integrity Supervisor, DC is responsible for managing QC/VAS/POD teams providing guidance and training as needed, and ensuring the team has the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively. Supervises the day-to-day activities of all different inspections and projects. Implements and enforces quality control standards and procedures throughout the garment inspection process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.
  • Must know how to measure and inspect high-end garments.
  • Responsible for implementing and monitoring the inspection/measurement team.
  • Ability/willingness to learn new skills/processes and improve current skills.
  • Work with the team daily to call out any production issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Inform the team by email of all ASN releases and completion of special projects.
  • Review PP / TOP samples to compare bulk production garments.
  • Communicate/email the team any production rejections, viable solutions, and due dates.
  • Communicate and train the inspection team on how to inspect and how to do 100% inspections.
  • Manage time to ensure that assigned work is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • To perform this job successfully, one should be proficient with Microsoft Office -- MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong fit with the members of the management team and the ability to work with all levels of

employees within the organization.

  • Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, including documentation, database, and digital platforms.
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Attending and solving any issue in the different DCs that directly concern the quality department.
  • Prepares and maintains quality documentation and analyzing reports, including failed processes.
  • Provides quality expertise and training for all inspection positions to maintain a smooth-flowing operation.
  • Review garments and make accept/reject decisions.
  • Notify the PI Manager of any deviation or out-of-tolerance quality standards before any corrective action is taken.

  • Experience in textile factories or weaving companies.
  • Strong knowledge of garment production processes and quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Work ethic with personal integrity.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Efficiently manage time and resources to meet production deadlines.
  • Analytical thinking is necessary to assess data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT, Teams, and SharePoint) and Outlook
  • Able to stand and walk around for up to 12 hours at a time
  • Ability to handle various tools
