Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Pit Manager, is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer.  The incumbent is also responsible for the delivery of Customer Service standards, while maintaining the integrity of the games.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Northern Indiana Casino their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
  • Operates and conducts table games according to procedure during assigned shift.
  • Provides game security and protects Company assets by facing games at all times and being able to recreate bets/situations when necessary.
  • Responsible for handling all monies (bankrolls, payoffs, come and prop bets, making change and check handling) accurately in games.
  • Able to verbalize all aspects of the game including answering questions in regards to other games and the property.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Attend seminars when needed.

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

High School Diploma required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Hard Rock operations.
  • Policies and procedures as well as knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques.

ABILITY TO:

  • Calculate figures and create and manipulate spreadsheets to produce reports.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
