The Impact You Will Make

The Westminster Policy Administrator (WPA) is responsible for the overall administrative duties of processing specific customer contracts at the Forest Hill locations in Memphis, Tennessee. The WPA will act as the arranging counselor for all policy holders and will partner with a Sales Counselor at the location for aftercare, referrals and other assigned tasks by the Sales Manager.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide at-need clients with immediate service, providing a consoling atmosphere that enables the clients to make decisions regarding recently deceased family members.
  • Provide options and associated costs, including advising clients on financing options such as co-signing of insurance and information on obtaining financing. Ensures that all financing is taken care of prior to internment.
  • Provide clients with site overview, including tours around the property, identifying the location of existing or potential family plots.
  • Obtain all associated authorizations required for the process to be completed, including those needed to open plot.
  • Provide information to clients regarding Next-of-Kin Family Folder; including listing and directions regarding Social Security Benefits claim forms and death benefits.
  • Provide other services including ushering families to site on the day of the funeral.
  • Regularly contact all family members and others associated with the funeral to offer help and services, including special opportunities for cost savings (discount certificates).
  • Responsible for daily management of CRM as it relates to the fulfillment of the Westminster Policy purchases.
  • Complete all the required paperwork. Processes and authorizations required to finalize a sale and deliver the service/product from start to finish.
  • Participate in all relevant sales and funeral meetings, communicating effectively with local management and team members regarding activity, progress, and results.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required with some additional education preferred in a related area such as Business, Marketing, and/or Sales.
  • 1 year of sales experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driverโ€™s license and access to a personal vehicle. Offsite appointments will occur in this role including meetings with clients and community events. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel associated with job duties.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel and Outlook) required.
  • Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with problem solving skills.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
