What is the difference between Fundraising vs Development Coordinator?
| Aspect | Fundraising | Development Coordinator |
|---|---|---|
| Primary Focus | Generating funds through campaigns, events, and donor outreach | Supporting fundraising efforts, managing donor databases, and coordinating activities |
| Required Credentials | Often no specific certification, but experience in sales or marketing helps | Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, or related fields |
| Work Environment | Nonprofit organizations, charities, fundraising agencies | Nonprofits, educational institutions, community organizations |
