Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Fund Administration Supervisor to join our Fund Administration Team. In this role you will be part of a team with dual responsibilities for Financial Reporting and Expense Administration.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

Review and/or prepare annual, semi-annual and quarterly financial statements and regulatory filings for registered and non-registered investment companies.

Assist with problem solving and issue resolution; Utilize best judgment to escalate issues to senior managers as appropriate.

Maintain a working familiarity with applicable laws, regulations and interpretation of governing financial statements and disclosure, including the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Internal Revenue Code, GAAP, IFRS, Regulation S-X and other applicable requirements.

Assist with fund audits with all applicable internal and external parties.

Communicate appropriately with the Fund Reporting Manager with respect to all timetables and workflow and communicate to the extent appropriate about all relevant matters with other department members within BBH.

Perform special projects as directed by the Financial Reporting Manager.

Maintain knowledge related to regulatory changes affecting funds.

Overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of all expense administration including direct oversight of personnel such as the Expense Administration Representatives and the Senior Expense Administration Representatives

Managing the allocation of work and the review and administration of invoices, forecasts, accrual calculations, reporting and daily requests from internal colleagues and clients.

Report regularly on the allocation of work, the control environment, process improvements, opportunities for improvement, and the challenges and successes of each current Fund Administration team member.

Coordinating communication with clients and external auditors on a regular basis, ensuring timely and accurate responses to any queries/information provision

Performing the internal controls agreed for the process

Ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all client related tasks, including communicating with other BBH teams

Desired Qualifications:

At least 3 years of relevant work experience in audit / financial reporting / finance related area

Prior experience in managing a team and/or managing a project would be an asset

Highly organized and detail oriented, continuously seeking learning opportunities and striving to develop professional knowledge

Strong numerical ability and analytical skills

Pro-active, mature and able to work with respect to the previously agreed timeline

Primary degree in a finance or accounting related discipline, and/or equivalent work experience would be an asset

Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Computer literate with Excel and Word skills

Salary Range

MA: 65,000 - $90,000. + Annual Target Bonus

Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
