ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Global Pricing and Valuation Services team, within Global Fund Administration and Oversight at Franklin Templeton Services, ensures accurate fund valuation and regulatorycompliant financial reporting. The group partners with thirdparty administrators, auditors, internal teams, and fund boards to oversee pricing, valuation governance, and audit readiness. Team members collaborate across regions, support fund launches, and contribute to process improvements and digital transformation, gaining deep exposure to global fund operations and risk management.

HOW YOU WILL ADD VALUE

Core Responsibilities

  • You will review and validate new securities in pricing systems.

  • You will investigate pricing exceptions and document root causes.

  • You will coordinate valuation issues with corporate actions partners.

  • You will investigate daily pricing exceptions, and address valuation impacts and escalate issues.

Quality Assurance

  • You will prepare pricing data for audits and oversight reviews.

  • You will analyze unchanged and illiquid securities.

  • You will resolve pricing challenges raised by internal stakeholders.

  • You will monitor pricing sources and obtain secondary prices when possible.

  • You will ensure valuations reflect market conditions.

Process Improvement

  • You will identify opportunities to strengthen oversight controls.

  • You will support digital initiatives that reduce risk and improve efficiency.

  • You will contribute to automation, regulatory, and productlaunch projects.

  • You will reduce risk and improve operational efficiency.

Special Projects & Training

  • You will support departmental projects led by senior team members.

  • You will participate in crosstraining to build team capability.

Client Servicing

  • You will respond to routine client and stakeholder inquiries.

  • You will prepare data for due diligence requests.

  • You will support ad hoc assignments with senior analysts.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience; asset management experience preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Experience improving processes and working with digital tools.

  • Strong MS Excel skills, familiarity with Power BI, Alteryx.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

  • Comfort working in a fastchanging, deadline-oriented environment.

Other

  • Availability to work until 6pm PT as needed for reporting deliverables.

WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION
  • Hybrid from Rancho Cordova, CA or Pasadena, CA offices.
