Job Description:

Prestigious hedge fund with approximately $22 billion AUM, is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their growing team! This is an amazing opportunity to join a rapidly growing fund and work closely with senior management! Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, monthly close, preparing monthly statements, and calculating capital calls, along with any other ad-hoc requests from the fundโ€™s controller.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Fund Accounting responsibilities for Credit Funds
  • Preparing monthly close/financial statement preparation
  • Calculating NAV (Net Asset Value)
  • Daily and cash reconciliations
  • Analyze fundโ€™s performance
  • Working with auditors to prepare and present year-end financial accounts

Job Requirements:

  • 1-6 years of Fund Accounting experience (buy-side experience is strongly preferred)
  • Accounting degree (CPA is a big plus)
  • Strong Excel skills, including, Pivot Tables, V-Lookups and H-Lookups โ€“ VBA is a huge plus!
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and ability to multitask

Compensation:

  • $75,000 - $90,000
