With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy.  About the role.As McCain continues its global digital transformation journey, the S/4 Functional Project Manager will play a critical role in leading and delivering key initiatives within the SAP S/4HANA Business Transformation program. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end project execution across multiple functional domains, ensuring alignment between business, technology, and transformation goals. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to enable seamless delivery, foster innovation, and ensure high-quality outcomes that support McCain’s digital future. This is a 6-month contract position that has the flexibility to be based out of Toronto, Ontario or Florenceville, New Brunswick.   What you’ll be doing.Partner with business, process, functional, and digital technology stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and facilitate workshopsCollaborate across cross-functional teams to analyze, document, and align on key decisions using McCain frameworks and toolsPlan, execute, and govern S/4HANA configuration activities to support business transformation requirementsSupport organizational change management (OCM) initiatives related to the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANADevelop and maintain project plans, progress reports, and status dashboards to ensure transparency and alignmentEstablish scalable best practices and repeatable processes across all phases of the transformation (plan, design, build, test, deploy)Utilize project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) to manage timelines, resources, dependencies, and risksAlign OCM plans with program timelines and address interdependencies across workstreamsSupport program leadership by managing stakeholder relationships and driving timely escalation and resolution of risks and issuesLead daily project activities, including team coordination, status meetings, and working sessionsEnsure third-party partners meet contractual obligations and deliverablesManage financials and resource allocation for assigned workstreams using McCain tools and frameworks What you’ll need to be successful.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in SAP implementations, including at least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementationProven experience as a Functional Project Manager in a global SAP S/4HANA programPMP and/or SAP Activate Project Manager certification preferredFamiliarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindsetSolid understanding of SAP technologies and global delivery modelsExperience with Jira or similar project management toolsKnowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plusExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsStrong conflict resolution, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilitiesPassion for innovation and continuous improvement About the team.You will be part of McCain’s global Digital Technology and Business Transformation organization, working alongside cross-functional teams including business leaders, SAP functional experts, technical specialists, and system integrator partners. CAD annual base salary equivalency, paid in alignment to contract term  The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
