Job description

Want to drive the coolest ride in the building and make it your full-time gig? We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Zamboni Driver to help keep our ice smooth, our facility looking great, and our arena running like a well-oiled machine.

From hockey and figure skating to public skate and tournaments, great ice makes all the difference and you will be a key part of making it happen!

Your Main Mission: Keep Things Cool, Clean & Running Smooth

You will help create great ice, keep the arena safe and clean, and make sure everything is ready for the next group to hit the rink.

  • Operate the Zamboni or Olympia to resurface and maintain high-quality ice
  • Monitor ice conditions and handle edging, patching, and adjustments as needed
  • Complete equipment checks, cleaning, refueling, and basic maintenance
  • Help keep locker rooms, lobbies, restrooms, benches, and arena areas clean and organized
  • Assist with event setups, snow removal, and general facility needs
  • Monitor building and equipment systems and report any issues
  • Pitch in wherever needed to keep the arena running smoothly

Think You’ve Got What It Takes?

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, comfortable around machinery, and ready to get their hands a little dirty.

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Prior experience operating a Zamboni or Olympia ice resurfacer
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery
  • Knowledge of ice refrigeration systems is a plus
  • Forklift or other machinery operation experience is a bonus
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and operate equipment responsibly
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in cold environments and on wet or slippery surfaces
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, and operate machinery for extended periods
