Description
Essential Functions
A Maintenance Technician is also responsible for recording maintenance logs on equipment and recording preventative maintenance intervals. It is expected that a Maintenance Technician is a self-motivated individual with interpersonal skills to interact with employees of the building in a pleasant manner. And attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
Essential Function
Performing routine maintenance around the buildings such as repairing drywall, door frames and flooring.
Repairing leaking or broken plumbing, Fertigation system, Reverse Osmosis system and all other liquid systems in the facility
Modifying existing utilities to accommodate the installation of new equipment, Completing start up and maintenance scheduling for the new added asset.
Troubleshooting lighting and electrical issues.
Having the ability to navigate computer-based building systems such as Trane Building automation system, Computerized maintenance management system, and Computer based controls thru out the facility.
The use of a specialty skill you may possess. Welding, Sheetmetal work, or Fabrication.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: 2-3 years' experience in Maintenance
Other Requirements:
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems.
• Electrical wiring capabilities to manage electrical issues.
• Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs of the building.
• Familiar with hand tools and tools of specific trades.
• Any trade specific training either certified or years of experience.
Working Conditions
Working in a secure facility: Lume Cannabis cultivation and processing has strict security measures in place to prevent theft or diversion of cannabis products. This may include cameras, security personnel, and secure entrances and exits.
Work will be performed in a clean and well-ventilated environment: Additionally, a clean environment will be maintained to prevent contamination of the product.
Lume Cannabis has strict safety protocols in place to prevent injury. This includes wearing protective gear such as gloves, masks, and goggles, as well as following proper handling procedures for equipment and chemicals.
Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds with assistance or mechanical aids.
Frequent bending and stooping to handle items, with the ability to push/pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
Repetitive lifting of up to 25 pounds is expected throughout the workday.
It's important to note that cannabis processing can be physically demanding work, and workers may be required to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
