Job description

Job Title: Electrician Technician | Reports to: Site Foreman / Facility Manager | Location: Homestead, FL 33030 

 

Job Summary:

The Flowery is a leading cannabis cultivation and production company committed to quality, sustainability, and excellence. We are seeking a skilled Electrician Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems and equipment throughout our facilities. 

The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and installation of electrical systems and equipment. 

  • Maintain electrical panels, wiring, outlets, lighting, motors, controls, and related equipment. 

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues affecting cultivation, HVAC, irrigation, pumps, production equipment, and facility systems. 

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. 

  • Assist with facility projects, renovations, and equipment installations. 

  • Use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely. 

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow applicable electrical codes, OSHA requirements, and company policies. 

  • Communicate maintenance needs and project status to supervisors. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of general maintenance.  

  • Local travel between locations may be required. 

 

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; electrical or trade school training is a plus. 

  • Previous electrical, maintenance, or skilled-trade experience. 

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, lighting, motors, and controls. 

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to read electrical schematics and use electrical testing equipment. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools. 

  • Ability to perform physical/manual labor and lift heavy objects.
