Job description

Job Summary
The Staten Island Skating Pavilion is seeking a reliable, hard working maintenance/ Zamboni driver to join our team. This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well functioning facility for our skaters, families, and guests. 
Responsibilities 
  • Driving and operating the Zamboni to maintain ice quality 
  • Opening and closing the facility as scheduled 
  • General facility cleaning (lobby, locker rooms, bathrooms, etc.) 
  • Properly setting up and storing hockey equipment
  • Completing and updating maintenance log book
  • Assisting with basic repairs and facility upkeep as needed 
  • Insuring all areas are safe and presentable and ready for daily operations 
Qualifications
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work independently and follow procedures 
  • Dependable and punctual 
  • Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed 
  • Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, cleaning, operating equipment)
