Position Summary The Student Success & Academic Services Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting student success by integrating recruitment, enrollment, academic advising, and program coordination functions.

This position serves as a key liaison between the Arkansas Tech Career Center (ATCC), Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus, partner high schools, students, and families. The role supports students from initial recruitment through program completion and contributes to career readiness and workforce pathways. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Student Recruitment & Enrollment Recruit prospective students through outreach to partner schools, events, and community engagement Process applications and enrollment documentation Evaluate academic records for admission and placement Collaborate with high school counselors and administrators Support student transition to ATU-Ozark Academic Advising & Student Support Provide individual and group advising Review transfer records and determine course placement Conduct degree audits Coordinate accommodations (504, IEP, ESL) Assist students with academic and career planning Program Coordination & Compliance Develop and maintain class schedule aligned with ATU-Ozark Complete state and institutional reporting Ensure FERPA compliance Maintain accurate records and reports Assessment & Testing Administer assessments such as Accuplacer Interpret placement data Share results with stakeholders Collaboration & Communication Serve as liaison with schools and stakeholders Support faculty and staff Collaborate across departments Minimum Qualifications & Preferred Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in education, business, public administration, or a related field At least one (1) year of documented experience in student services, advising, academic support, admissions, enrollment, education, or administrative support involving records or scheduling Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience performing at least one of the following: processing applications or records; scheduling classes or appointments; maintaining confidential records Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in school counseling, higher education, educational leadership, or related field 2-3 years of experience in student services, advising, or academic support Experience in a secondary or post secondary education environment Experience with recruitment and enrollment processes Experience with student information systems such as Banner or Argos Experience supporting 504, IEP, or ESL students Experience with data reporting, scheduling, or placement testing Experience with dual enrollment or K-12 partnerships Core Competencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Attention to detail and organizational skills Commitment to student success and workforce readiness Location, Environment, & Physical Demands Arkansas Tech Career Center - Russellville, AR Arkansas Tech University is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
