Responsibilities

Support Event Coordinators with the planning and execution of corporate, social, wedding, and branded events
Assist in managing and coordinating event details including timelines, floorplans, guest counts, menus, and dietary restrictions
Support the creation, updates, and accuracy of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) within Tripleseat
Work closely with Event Coordinators and internal teams to ensure all event details are communicated and executed properly
Participate in weekly BEO and Events meetings to support event readiness and cross-functional communication
Provide on-site event support including setup, execution, and breakdown
Assist with managing catering, bar service, vendors, entertainment, and activations during events
Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and aligned with guest expectations and High West standards
Support resolution of guest concerns, vendor issues, and logistical challenges during events
Assist with High West promotional and branded events, including logistics, setup, and execution
Support event documentation accuracy and ensure updates are reflected in Tripleseat
Assist with organizing and maintaining event supplies, decor, and equipment inventory
Follow established event SOPs and support process improvements as needed
Provide general team support as needed to ensure successful execution of all events

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 1 years experience in hospitality, events, or related field
Passion for hospitality and events with a willingness to support team needs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to take direction and work within established guidelines and processes
Ability to work with a diverse set of team members and clients
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and event management systems (Tripleseat preferred)
Demonstrate strong follow through and attention to detail
Dedication to providing excellent customer service
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in the hospitality industry
Experience with Tripleseat or similar event management systems

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Physical Requirements:The employee frequently is required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move objects up to 55 pounds. Frequent walking, including going up and down stairs and bending are required.

Work Environment:Working conditions at an event may require the employee to be outside for extended periods of time and/or occasionally in a kitchen with slippery floors. Irregular shifts, nights, weekends, and long hours may be required, particularly when working an event.
