Job description

 Mister Sparky Electric of Tri-Cities, an affiliate of Authority Brands, is expanding its team and hiring experienced service electricians to join our field crew. This customer-facing role focuses on troubleshooting, repairs, installations, safety inspections, and presenting clear options to homeowners as well as small business owners. Located in Pasco, we proudly serve residential clients across the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas. 
What can joining the Mister Sparky team offer you?
This is not a production-construction job or a maintenance role. You will be part of the field team helping establish Mister Sparky in the Tri-Cities market and in Washington State.
We are offering a competitive hourly rate depending on license, experience, residential service ability, and customer communication skills. This is a full-time position with 40+ hours per week, paid training, support, and development through the Mister Sparky system, and the opportunity for performance-based compensation as the company grows.
This position includes participation in rotating after-hours/on-call coverage. After-hours calls are screened through our dispatch system before technician escalation. When called to duty, technicians are paid for actual time worked plus a call-out incentive premium.  Overtime is paid when required. As the company grows, there will be paths to leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  •  Install new equipment, including lighting, switches, receptacles, panels, load centers, transformers, surge protectors, and related residential electrical systems.
  •  Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in homes and small businesses, including panels, circuits, devices, and wiring.
  •  Identify root causes and deliver safe, code-compliant solutions.
  •  Communicate clearly with customers and recommend needed repairs or upgrades.
  •  Present repair, replacement, and upgrade options using company pricing and service standards.
  •  Provide accurate job scopes, material lists, service notes, and pricing information.
  •  Use ServiceTitan for job documentation, photos, notes, and closeout.
  •  Keep work areas clean and maintain a professional appearance.
  •  Basic knowledge of installing and bending EMT conduit.
  •  Support 100% client satisfaction.
  •  Participate in rotating after-hours/on-call coverage.
Qualifications:
  •  Washington EL01 General-Journey Electrician Certificate
  •  Previous experience as an electrician is required, with 5+ years preferred for top pay consideration
  •  Valid Driver’s License - with an acceptable driving record
  •  Willingness and ability to participate in rotating after-hours/on-call coverage, including some nights and weekends
  •  Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  •  Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
  •  Strong troubleshooting skills
  •  Professional appearance and courteous personality
  •  Strong customer communication skills
  •  ServiceTitan experience preferred
