Job Description:
Faribault Adult Education Center is seeking a full-time Student Success Screener to work with students in the first stages of enrollment at Faribault Education Center. This position will implement all FEC testing with accuracy according to requirements. This position is very detail oriented and data focused. This year-round position is on a 188 day calendar and requires availability to work a flexible schedule to fit program needs (listed below)
Mondays 8:30am-12:30pm and 4pm-8pm (split shift)
Tuesdays 8:30am-5pm
Wednesdays 11:30am-8pm
Thursdays 8:30am-5pm, no Fridays.
Hourly wage is $24.69 per hour, 4 days per week, 8 hours per day, 32 hrs per week.
This position will commence on July 6, 2026
Essential Functions:
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for diverse students, staff, families and community members at the Faribault Education Center
  • Responsible for all English Language Learner student intakes
  • Knowledgeable with SID, eCASAS, TABE, Pearson and other testing platforms
  • Communicate with teachers about new students and testing data
  • Maintain all personal testing certifications needed in for the FEC Testing Center
  • Administer all testing at Faribault Education Center as directed
  • Accurately maintain and enter data into databases, spreadsheets and other appropriate software
  • Use information databases to show student outcomes and meet program goals
  • Assist with other data entry and clean up as needed
  • Manage student device(chromebook, ipad, hotspot) rental and return

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Detailed oriented and very organized
  • Be able to follow a system/protocol
  • Be able to troubleshoot and think critically
  • Ability to stay clear and calm under high intensity situations
  • Knowledgeable with computers and testing programs
  • Knowledgeable with Adult Education standards
  • Understand and apply the importance of communication with staff
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and data privacy
  • Friendly, personable, reliable

Required Experience:
  • Experience managing and maintaining spreadsheets and data
  • Must have knowledge of SID, eCASAS, TABE, Pearson and other testing platforms
  • Must have a passion for working with diverse populations from historically marginalized populations
  • Willingness to learn and a growth mindset

Preferred Experience:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or Somali
