As a Security Officer Full Time in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, hazardous-material concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, processing areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions, damaged barriers, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
