Part Time Overnight Security Officer - 77081

United Protective Services is seeking a professional, customer-focused Gate Attendant Security Officer for an apartment community. This is a high-visibility position that plays an important role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-managed parking environment for residents and guests.

Schedule

  • Monday: 09:00PM - 05:00AM
  • Tuesday: 09:00PM - 05:00AM
  • Wednesday: 09:00PM - 05:00AM

Position Overview

The Gate Attendant serves as the first point of contact for many residents, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel entering the property. The ideal candidate is polite, courteous, observant, and motivated, with a strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail.

This position primarily focuses on access control, visitor logging, and monitoring activity within the entrance area.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the apartment complex
  • Verify visitor authorization and maintain accurate visitor logs
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at all times
  • Monitor for unauthorized vehicles, security concerns, and maintenance issues
