Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.84 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities for a government location. * Monitor entry points, greet visitors, confirm identification and/or credentials, and direct authorized personnel and guests in accordance with front desk policies. * Answer phones, manage visitor logs, issue temporary badges or passes, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken. * Support daily front desk operations by communicating with staff, vendors, and the public, helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening and professional presence. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. * A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience is required, or a college degree is required. * An active DoD Confidential clearance is required. * A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required. * A minimum of 3 years of experience as military police, corrections officer, or armed security-related personnel is required, or the candidate must be a certified law enforcement graduate. * A minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience is required, or a minimum of 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience is required, or a minimum of 3 years of security-related experience is required. * An armed guard card or license is required. * Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. * Be at least 21 years of age. * A minimum of 5 years of security-related experience is required. * Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
