This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and contacting appropriate emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
  • Maintain required armed credentials and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
