Sales Manager

About Us

ACT Security Group provides customized security guard and mobile patrol solutions. We pride ourselves on being a locally owned company with active, day-to-day ownership involvement. We are looking for a results-driven sales professional to spearhead our growth in the high-demand Houston metro area.

The Role

As our Sales Manager, you will command the full sales cycle, from

prospecting and cold calling to conducting on-site security evaluations and closing high-value deals. You will target property managers, asset managers, and facility directors directly. This is a high-performance, metric-driven position designed for a self-starter who thrives in B2B service sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aggressively prospect and build a robust pipeline of commercial real estate, retail, multifamily, and industrial clients throughout the Houston market.
  • Conduct on-site security evaluations and meetings with property managers to identify specific vulnerabilities.
  • Cultivate relationships with local networking groups.
  • Prepare, present, and negotiate comprehensive security proposals and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with operations teams for seamless onboarding of new guard and patrol accounts.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline status, and client communication records using our CRM, HubSpot.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of successful outside B2B sales experience
  • Experience in contract security, facility services, or commercial property vendor sales is preferred.
  • Understanding of the Houston commercial real estate market.
  • Demonstrated ability to cold-call, network, generate leads, and independently close high-value contracts.
  • Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Valid state driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and HubSpot.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $60,000-$70,000 annually, paid bi-weekly.
  • Commissions: Uncapped commission structure based on collected invoices.
  • Vehicle & Travel: monthly vehicle allowance starting 60 days after hire, plus IRS Standard Mileage Rate reimbursement for business travel outside the local metro area.
