Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Specialist to support our SAP SuccessFactors implementation project within the higher education sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) employee data from legacy HRIS systems into SuccessFactors modules, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements.
This role requires strong technical skills in data mapping, cleansing, and validation, along with proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, and SAP data migration utilities.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with functional consultants, IT teams, and HR stakeholders to develop migration strategies, create data templates, perform mock loads, and execute cutover activities while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information. Experience with higher education HR structures, including complex organizational hierarchies, union rules, academic appointments, and student employee classifications, is highly preferred.
