Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
A well-established Japanese technology company is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to support the expansion of its B2B Cloud and digital transformation solutions in the U.S. market.
The company has already launched its Cloud DX business in Japan and has established a track record of providing its services to Japanese companies operating in the United States. Its North American business is currently supported primarily by a team in Canada, and the product is ready for broader rollout in the U.S.
This is a newly created position intended to accelerate sales growth in the U.S. The successful candidate will play a central role in identifying prospective customers, developing new business opportunities, and establishing the company’s sales presence in the U.S. market.
This opportunity is well suited for a self-motivated B2B SaaS, Cloud, or technology sales professional who is comfortable working in a business-building environment and managing the sales process from prospecting through closing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new business opportunities for B2B Cloud and DX solutions in the U.S. market
  • Identify and engage prospective enterprise customers, including Japanese-affiliated companies operating in the United States
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and initial outreach through needs assessment, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing
  • Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within prospective client organizations
  • Understand customers’ business and technology challenges and present appropriate Cloud and DX solutions
  • Coordinate with teams in Japan and Canada regarding product information, sales strategy, customer requirements, and implementation considerations
  • Support the development of the company’s U.S. go-to-market strategy
  • Track sales activities, opportunities, forecasts, and results
  • Provide feedback regarding U.S. customer needs, market conditions, pricing, and competitive trends
  • Identify cross-selling and expansion opportunities with existing customers when applicable
  • Support customer retention and the development of long-term client relationships
Qualifications
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, Cloud, DX, enterprise software, or technology solution sales
  • Proven experience developing new customers and generating new business
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closing
  • Ability to build a sales pipeline in a developing or newly established market
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with limited existing U.S. sales infrastructure
  • Ability to collaborate with international and cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational, follow-up, and sales forecasting skills
  • Ability to commute to the company’s Torrance office
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS or Cloud solutions, including platforms such as Salesforce or comparable B2B technology services
  • Experience selling to Japanese-affiliated companies in the United States
  • Experience launching a new product, territory, or market
  • Background in business development, founding sales, or early-stage market expansion
  • Existing professional network within the U.S. enterprise or Japanese business community
  • Japanese-language proficiency is preferred but not required. Candidates with a strong track record in enterprise SaaS, Cloud, or technology sales will be considered regardless of Japanese-language ability.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a position that combines Enterprise Sales, Business Development, and U.S. market expansion. This individual should be able to take ownership of the territory while collaborating closely with teams in Japan and Canada.
Sales Performance
Sales performance is expected to be evaluated using a combination of factors, which may include:
  • New recurring revenue
  • Number of new customer contracts
  • Pipeline development
  • Customer retention
  • Expansion opportunities
Compensation
  • Base salary: $70,000–$80,000

  • Target commission: Approximately $60,000 at 100% quota attainment

  • Target OTE: Approximately $130,000–$140,000

  • Additional earning potential may be available for exceeding quota
  • A future profit-sharing structure may also be considered as the U.S. business develops
The company recognizes that the first year will involve market-development and business-building activities and will evaluate performance with consideration for the ramp-up period.

  • Medical insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • IRA retirement plan
  • Paid Time Off
  • Paid Sick Leave
About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity to become an early member of a growing U.S. business and help shape the company’s sales strategy, customer base, and long-term market presence.
The product is ready for U.S. expansion, and the primary objective of this hire is to provide the local sales leadership and execution needed to bring the solution to a broader range of enterprise customers.
