Pyramid Care Consultants is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients' mental health history and trauma experiences to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Meeting regularly with patients to review their progress, discuss challenges, and adjust treatment modalities as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patient needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness strategies, and psychoeducation on trauma coping mechanisms.
  • Keeping detailed records of patient interactions and progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and confidentiality standards.
  • Engaging in multidisciplinary collaborations with social workers, medical professionals, and community resources to enhance patient support and recovery.
  • Providing training and support for staff and patients on best practices for managing stress and overcoming the effects of trauma.
  • Continuously advancing your professional skills through ongoing education and certification maintenance in line with the National Certified Counselor standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to abuse, accidents, and significant life changes. Qualifications
  • A valid Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or closely related field.
  • A current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
  • At least three years of specialized experience in working with trauma patients, demonstrating an understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with online counseling platforms.
