Position Overview
Are you passionate about opening doors to new opportunities?
Ripple Effect is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to lead this activity across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies. This role involves developing pricing proposals, analyzing information to support bid pricing, and continuously monitoring and updating our pricing processes for optimal performance to achieve our business objectives. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, business development, project and finance teams, applying strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to drive effective pricing strategy and processes while building strong internal and external relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Independently lead the development of compliant, competitive, and financially sound cost and price proposals for federal government, non-profit and commercial opportunities from solicitation review through final submission.
  • Analyze solicitation requirements, contract structures, pricing instructions, assumptions, and proposal risks to develop effective pricing strategies and recommendations.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex pricing models, cost estimates, and financial analyses to support labor estimates, indirect cost recovery, profitability assessments, pricing scenarios, and business decision-making.
  • Prepare cost volumes, Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation, pricing narratives, assumptions, schedules, and supporting proposal documentation aligned with technical and management solutions.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals, perform cost and price analyses, and ensure supporting documentation meets solicitation, compliance, and organizational requirements.
  • Perform detailed reviews of pricing models, cost estimates, and proposal submissions by validating formulas, conducting cross-footing and reasonableness testing, and performing vertical and horizontal analyses to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Play a key role in our evolution to revise our pricing processes and enable our data to leverage AI assisted tools to best position the company to win its bids.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the development of pricing tools, templates, standardized methodologies, and responsible use of analytical and AI-enabled technologies to improve efficiency and proposal quality.
  • From time to time, analyze contract plans and financial performance vs. the bid, identify risks and trends, and provide financial insight to support successful contract execution and business outcomes.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 6 years of relevant professional experience.

Basic Requirements
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and government contracting principles.
  • Experience leading pricing on FFP, T&M, Cost-Reimbursement, IDIQ, and other federal contract types.
  • Experience developing pricing strategies and cost proposals for federal contract vehicles (e.g., GSA MAS, GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, and agency-specific contract vehicles).
  • Experience developing labor rates, pricing models, subcontractor pricing, contract profitability and price-to-win analyses.
  • Experience with Labor Category pricing including GWAC and IDIQ schedule pricing.
  • Experience preparing cost volumes, BOEs, pricing narratives, and supporting proposal documentation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent proposal efforts and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, demonstrated ability to execute instructions, and commitment to quality and compliance.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office productivity software and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

Skills That Set You Apart
  • Experience designing, implementing, and improving pricing processes, estimating methodologies, pricing standards, and supporting documentation.
  • Intermediate experience applying generative AI, automation tools, and structured data techniques to support labor estimating, pricing analytics, proposal benchmarking, and decision-making while maintaining appropriate human oversight and quality controls.
  • Experience supporting contracts management function (e.g., NDA, TA, contract negotiation).
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning tools (Jamis Prime preferred)
  • Experience supporting program financial management, including forecasting, EVMS, EACs, variance analysis, and other program control activities.
