Technical Solution Pricing Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a Technical Solutions Pricing Analyst, you will partner with technical, product, capture, finance, and market leaders to develop pricing strategies for emerging capabilities across AI, software, analytics, cyber, and technology-enabled offerings. You will help evaluate how technical differentiation, customer value, competitive positioning, and delivery considerations translate into pricing recommendations that improve competitiveness and business outcomes. Help shape how advanced technologies and mission-focused solutions are priced across our Defense, National Security, and Civil sectors.
In this role, you will blend pricing analytics, market intelligence, and Price-to-Win (PTW) concepts to support solution and product pricing strategies in a rapidly evolving environment. You will assess market dynamics, evaluate competitor positioning, and develop pricing models that balance mission value, affordability, and growth objectives. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
What You'll Work On:
  • Develop pricing models and analyses that support technical solutions, products, and mission-focused offerings across Defense, National Security, and Civil sectors.
  • Build and refine Price-to-Win (PTW) analyses that account for competitive positioning, solution strategy, customer priorities, and delivery approaches.
  • Partner with capture, product, finance, technical, and market teams to align pricing recommendations with solution differentiation and business objectives.
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses using federal market intelligence, pricing data, and publicly available information to inform pricing decisions.
  • Translate technical, operational, and market insights into quantitative pricing recommendations and executive-ready narratives.
  • Support value-based and outcomes-oriented pricing approaches that connect pricing strategy to measurable mission or customer impact.
  • Analyze pricing trends, market conditions, and evolving technology landscapes to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
  • Develop executive-level presentations and recommendations to inform pricing decisions and strategy discussions.
  • Contribute to pricing frameworks for emerging technologies, software-enabled capabilities, and productized offerings.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing analytics, pricing strategy, Price-to-Win (PTW), financial analytics, product pricing, market analytics, or quantitative strategy roles
  • Experience supporting pricing, PTW, capture, or market strategy efforts in federal, defense, national security, or regulated environments
  • Experience building analytical models and translating data into business recommendations within the government or commercial space
  • Experience synthesizing market, competitor, technical, or financial information into pricing and strategic recommendations
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership audiences
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience in solution-based or value-based pricing for technical or mission-oriented offerings
  • Experience in product management
  • Experience in competitive intel analysis
  • Knowledge of AI or ML-driven pricing models or cost estimation tools such as ACEIT, SEER, PRICE, or USCM

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
