This position offers the flexibility of remote work while remaining connected to a collaborative outpatient office environment. As a mental health counselor, you will utilize state-of-the-art facilities and resources to conduct assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions. Regular business hours are expected, with occasional evening sessions to accommodate patients during critical times.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate individual patient needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention for patients facing mental health challenges, helping them navigate through their issues effectively.
• Facilitate therapy groups and workshops that discuss topics such as coping strategies, stress management, and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate closely with medical professionals, patient support services, and community organizations to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Engage in outreach initiatives and preventive efforts, including organizing mental health awareness campaigns and hosting wellness events to promote community engagement.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including children, adolescents, and adults, each with unique mental health needs. Your understanding of the various challenges faced by individuals, especially in a hospital context, will be critical in delivering effective, compassionate care. Your interactions will not only address immediate concerns but also support long-term mental wellness and social functioning.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the mental health challenges faced by patients, particularly in outpatient settings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices and brief therapy models relevant to a fast-paced counseling environment.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, effectively managing a diverse caseload and demonstrating flexibility in scheduling.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in the mental health field, preferably within an outpatient or hospital counseling center.
• Demonstrated success in working with diverse populations and a range of mental health concerns.
• Experience in leading group therapy sessions and community outreach initiatives is highly valued.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
