• Conduct thorough intake assessments and screenings via video or phone consultations to evaluate students' mental health needs and create tailored treatment plans.
• Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services through telehealth, addressing a myriad of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops on essential topics such as stress management, coping skills, and emotional resilience.
• Collaborate effectively with campus stakeholders, including academic advisors and residential life staff, to create comprehensive support networks for students.
• Participate in and contribute to outreach initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness among the student body through virtual campaigns and educational resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records while adhering to ethical and legal standards in all documentation and reporting.

The primary focus of this role is to support college students navigating academic pressures and personal challenges. You will encounter a diverse population that may encompass various backgrounds, cultures, and mental health experiences. Understanding the unique stressors faced by students—such as transitions to college life, interpersonal relationship issues, and academic demands—is vital to effectively encourage their success and well-being.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field, underscoring a strong academic foundation for mental health practice.
• Demonstrated understanding of the unique mental health challenges that college students encounter, enabling you to provide relevant and empathetic care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for establishing rapport and building trust with a diverse student body.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and brief therapy models tailored for university counseling settings.
• Proficiency in managing a diverse caseload efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• At least two years of direct experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably within a post-secondary educational setting.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methods is highly desirable.
• A background in facilitating group therapy sessions and conducting mental health workshops.

• The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 to 75,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
