Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their mental health needs and establish appropriate treatment goals.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic practices to address individual and family dynamics.
• Provide counseling and support for individuals, couples, and families dealing with a wide array of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions, progress, and any updates to treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development and participate in team meetings to share insights and strategies that enhance the quality of care provided.
• Foster a trusting and empathetic therapeutic relationship by actively listening and creating a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from various backgrounds and present a wide spectrum of psychological issues, ranging from common life stressors to more complex mental health disorders. You will work with individuals of all ages, providing tailored support that addresses their specific needs. By utilizing telehealth services, you will have the opportunity to connect with clients in both urban and rural settings, effectively expanding access to mental health support.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Must hold a valid license as a Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment while adhering to strict confidentiality and professional standards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing telehealth counseling services is highly valued.
• Familiarity with diagnostic assessment tools and therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, or solution-focused therapy.
• Prior experience with varied patient populations, including youth, families, and individuals dealing with trauma.

Compensation and Benefits
