Work Environment

In this remote position, you will be an integral part of a collaborative virtual team dedicated to enhancing the mental well-being of our clients. Working from the comfort of your own space, you will engage with patients using a range of digital platforms, ensuring seamless access to care. Our flexible work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some room for adjustments to accommodate client needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patients' unique experiences, needs, and challenges.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that reflect a deep understanding of each client's cultural background and personal circumstances.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address an array of mental health concerns, while actively promoting resilience, emotional growth, and well-being among patients.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care, sharing insights on patient progress and collectively strategizing interventions.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, helping patients navigate distressing situations through calm and effective responses.
  • Educate patients and their families about specific mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources to foster informed decision-making.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans that comply with legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.
  • Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress, share successful strategies, and engage in ongoing cultural competency training.
  • Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field, actively seeking opportunities for professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Education: A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
  • Cultural Competence: Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, with a strong focus on culturally responsive practices.
  • Therapeutic Experience: Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy, applying inclusive methodologies that respect the values and beliefs of diverse populations.
