What does a full time post production video editor do?

A Full Time Post Production Video Editor is responsible for assembling raw video footage, selecting the best shots, and editing them into a polished final product according to project requirements. Their tasks often include cutting and trimming clips, adding visual effects, sound, music, color correction, and ensuring the video flows smoothly and tells a compelling story. They work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to bring creative visions to life. In a full-time role, they may also handle multiple projects, manage deadlines, and maintain organized video archives.
