Job description

Vineyards Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and member-focused Full-Time Pickleball Coordinator to oversee the daily programming and operation of our growing pickleball community. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing events, building member engagement, and creating an exceptional club experience.
Please Note: This is not a teaching or instructional position. The Pickleball Coordinator is responsible for organizing and administering pickleball activities rather than providing lessons.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule daily open play sessions for all skill levels.
  • Organize, administer, and manage pickleball leagues, round robins, and tournaments.
  • Plan and host member events, social mixers, and special pickleball activities throughout the year.
  • Coordinate court schedules to maximize member participation and court utilization.
  • Welcome members and guests while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate schedules, league standings, event information, and announcements through club communication platforms.
  • Assist with event registration, scoring, scheduling, and awards presentations.
  • Work closely with club management to develop new programs and increase member participation.
  • Monitor court activity and ensure club policies and etiquette are followed.
  • Maintain pickleball equipment and coordinate supply needs.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience coordinating pickleball, tennis, racquet sports, or recreational programming preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using scheduling software, email, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
