Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Location: This role can sit in either Carson City or Las Vegas, Nevada. We are open to hybrid flexibility over time, with on-site training and supervision at the outset.

Note: Must be licensed and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar. This is best suited for a relatively junior attorney who wants training, mentorship, and growth in a specialized defense-side practice.

Job Description

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation, industrial insurance, OSHA, subrogation, subsequent injury, and related matters
  • Appear in court, at hearings, and before administrative or government agencies
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and other case-related documents
  • Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, and case law
  • Develop case strategy with senior attorneys and help drive files forward efficiently
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date case files using case management software
  • Communicate with clients clearly and build strong long-term relationships
  • Manage deadlines, billing expectations, and multiple active matters in a fast-paced practice

Qualifications

  • J.D. and active Nevada Bar license in good standing
  • 0 to 4 years of attorney experience is ideal
  • Strong writing, research, analytical, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage competing deadlines
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Litigation, workers' compensation, insurance defense, or administrative law exposure is a plus
  • Experience with legal billing and case management software is helpful
