Designed in Seattle and built at our cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Richland, Washington, the LaserWeeder is setting a new standard for automated weed control. As a Contract Senior Technical Sourcer, you will be a key partner in scaling our technical teams during a critical phase of growth. You'll work closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to build high-impact sourcing strategies, engage top-tier talent, and ensure a strong, mission-aligned candidate pipeline.
This position is based in Seattle with an expectation of 4 days per week in-office.
What you'll do:
  • Design and execute strategic sourcing initiatives across our most important software engineering roles
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to develop tailored sourcing strategies
  • Conduct in-depth candidate screens, evaluating technical capabilities, problem-solving ability, and alignment with company mission and stage
  • Use market insights and talent mapping to inform hiring strategy and improve pipeline quality
  • Support broader recruiting initiatives and contribute to process improvements as the company scales
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:
  • 5+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated success sourcing for high caliber, Sr. Software Engineers in high growth startups
  • Proven ability to think strategically about talent pipelines, not just execute outbound sourcing
  • Hands-on experience with Greenhouse ATS and modern sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, in-office environment

The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity - paying employees equitably for similar work.
Carbon Robotics' base salary pay range:
$60-$70 USD
