Job description

Overview

Agility Robotics is pioneering the humanoid robotics segment, developing systems that bridge advanced AI, hardware, and real-world deployment at scale. As the company accelerates commercialization of its next-generation humanoid platform, the Chief of Staff to the CEO plays a critical leadership role in shaping and delivering the company's most high-impact strategic programs.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role leads a high-caliber team responsible for driving alignment, executional speed, and enterprise-level value creation. The Chief of Staff functions as a strategic accelerator-a highly focused, agile executive translating strategy into measurable outcomes that position Agility Robotics as the clear leader in humanoid robotics.

Purpose of the Chief of Staff to CEOย

To ensure Agility Robotics maintains strategic focus, executional speed, and disciplined alignment across the initiatives that most directly determine leadership in the humanoid robotics category.

Core ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Execution
  • Own a Strategic Portfolio: Manage a portfolio of strategic programs that enable Agility's humanoid leadership, ensuring executional discipline, risk mitigation, and milestone delivery.
  • Operational Cadence: Establish operating cadence, program reviews, and executive reporting frameworks in partnership with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and program teams.
  • Collaboration with Engineering: Provide strategic oversight for a portfolio of engineering programs and work collaboratively with Technical Program Managers (TPMs) that report into the engineering organization to ensure efforts are synchronized with enterprise-level strategic priorities.
  • Governance Frameworks: Establish program governance frameworks, milestones, and KPIs to ensure delivery of high-priority initiatives on time, within scope, and at quality.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment
  • ELT Engagement: Directly engage with the ELT on a regular basis to ensure initiatives remain on track, providing high visibility and accountability for results.
  • OKR Management: Drive OKR alignment and provide visibility across the ELT to support and drive achievement across the entire organization.
  • Internal Communication: Lead cross-functional teams across org-wide meetings to ensure the organization is advised on progress against OKRs and educated on key company initiatives.
Thought Partnership & Culture
  • Senior Advisor: Act as a thought partner to senior leadership, synthesizing data, insights, and trade-offs into clear recommendations and decision frameworks.
  • Performance Culture: Foster a culture of analytical rigor, accountability, and high-bar output within the team and across all program teams.
  • Risk Mitigation: Anticipate and mitigate risks in complex technical programs while maintaining agility in execution.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in operations or leadership within emerging technology, robotics, or high-growth sectors.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to drive large-scale, complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through commercialization with executive-level accountability.
  • Technical Acumen: Deep strategic and analytical skills with significant exposure to complex hardware-software systems; experience in robotics or automation environments is strongly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field required; Top-tier MBA or Master's in a technical field strongly preferred.
  • Leadership: Strong executive presence, communication, and leadership skills capable of influencing at C-suite levels.
