Job description

About Robot.com
Robot.com is redefining real-world automation - no sci-fi, just robots with jobs . Founded in 2017 and rooted in Colombia's culture of innovation, we've grown from campus pilots to one of the most active robot fleets on Earth, now operating across more than 30 campuses and cities worldwide. With headquarters in San Francisco and teams in Colombia and Taiwan, we build purpose-driven robots designed for the present: wheeled, reliable, and delightfully functional.
We power last-mile delivery, mobile advertising, warehouse logistics, and food service operations - all aimed at making everyday systems smarter, faster, and more sustainable. After completing over one million robotic tasks in under a year, we're scaling a movement that brings robotics out of the lab and into daily life. Robots shouldn't be overdesigned for imaginary futures - they should be built for real-world work, now.
About this opportunity
As an Operations Analyst Intern, you'll support the day-to-day execution of robotic delivery operations. This is a field-facing, high-impact internship where you'll work closely with operations leaders, restaurant partners, and end customers to keep the fleet running and improve performance. You'll gain exposure to robotics tech, logistics, fleet support, on-site troubleshooting, and growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-moving environment.
What you'll gain:
  • Hands-on experience supporting a real robotics-driven delivery operation
  • Exposure to operational execution, fleet performance, and stakeholder
    management
  • Opportunity to build problem-solving, communication, and cross-

  • A front-row seat to scaling one of the most exciting last-mile robotics networks in the world
Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics & Asset Support: Support shipping and movement of spare parts,

  • On-site Operations Support: Serve as an on-site point of contact and help ensure smooth fleet deployment and operations
  • Partner Enablement: Support restaurants and kitchens in keeping systems
    properly configured and operational
  • Operational Execution: Help meet KPIs/OKRs, including deployment of the
robots, inventory control, manual robot loading and on site support
  • Marketing & Growth: Support campus engagement, customer interaction,
    content capture, and market research
  • Maintenance & Fleet Updates: Assist with basic maintenance procedures,
    troubleshooting, and software updates
  • Communication & Reporting: Keep your supervisor informed of fleet status,
    issues, and operational risks
Qualifications and Skills
Technical Requirements (Must-Have):
  • Education & Certifications: Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Engineering, Operations, Business or any related field
  • Proactivity and strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work hands-on in the field and interact with partners and
    customers.
  • Interest in robotics, last-mile delivery, logistics, or field operations.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience with tools like Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, Slack, or similar.
  • Ability to capture operational data and summarize insights clearly.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles or partner relationship management
  • Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and maintenance procedures for technical equipment
Core Competencies (Soft Skills):
  • Assertive Communication - Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and respectfully with technical teams, partners, and customers while maintaining security-first mindset

  • Operational Agility - Capacity to rapidly adapt between multiple tasks, changing priorities, and dynamic field environments while maintaining quality standards
  • Resilience Under Pressure - Ability to remain calm, focused, and productive during high-stress operational situations and technical challenges
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Schedule flexibility may be required depending on operational needs.
