Shift/Schedule - Full Time Nights 3/12 hr. shifts 6:45pm - 7:15am- 

  • Requirements - Min of 3 yrs. Mother Baby RN experience

Our Mother/Baby Unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our Mother/Baby Unit leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. 

Mother/Baby Unit 

Patient Population: Mother-Baby with occasional GYN surgery patients 

Patient Ratios: 1:3 couplets (1:6) 

Number of Beds: 20 beds (can expand up to 25) 

Department Specifics: >90% BSN rate, >35% certification rate, 96% for Press Ganey HCSHPS customer satisfaction, active Unit partnership council, IBCLC lactation support 7 days a week, Texas 10 steps certified, On-site OB-GYN, hospitalists, and Neonatology (MD or NNP) 24/7.

  • Grad of an Accredited Program
  • Min of 3 yrs. Mother Baby RN experience   
  • Specialized field of study should be nursing.
  • RN license.
  • Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
