Job description

FocusOne in Northwest Houston is seeking an experienced Bilingual Loan Officer Assistant to work in the Houston office.
Position Overview:
Seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support the mortgage department by assisting Loan Officers and Loan Processors with daily operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to Loan Officers and Processors
  • Accurately input and manage data in mortgage software systems
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members
  • Adapt quickly to changes in business processes as needed

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of mortgage lending experience preferred (loan set-up, junior processing, escrow/title experience also considered)
  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with the Mortgagebot Loan Origination System is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
  • Flexible and able to work overtime as required
