Ø  All new  full time CNA hires in the nursing department will get a sign on bonus of  $1200.00 (paid in quarterly installments upon successful completion of initial 90 day probationary period);

Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation Nursing, a 160-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Beacon, NYa premier long term skilled nursing facility located in Dutchess County, New York has immediate openings for enthusiastic and energetic CNA’s  for all shifts  to become part of  our dedicated and professional staff. We are looking for individuals who desire a worthwhile career that has purpose and makes a meaningful difference in someone’s life. Under supervised professional and skilled guidance, our CNAs  give direct nursing care to assigned residents and perform other services necessary for their personal and comforts needs. Responsibilities:

  • Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
  • Distributes food/water and feeds residents.
  • Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
  • Ambulates and transports residents.
  • Records and totals fluid intake and output.
  • Weighs residents.
  • Documents on flow sheets.
  • Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
  • Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
  • Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
  • Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
  • Takes and records vital signs.
  • Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order.
  • Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge.

Requirements:

  • NY CNA Certification
  • Prior skilled nursing is a PLUS!
