What the day will look like

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily application of live cash and lockbox exceptions to appropriate open receivables.
  • Process and apply credit card payments.
  • Perform research on items when it’s not clearly identified where the money should be applied.
  • Prepare refunds, write-offs and adjustments.
  • Work weekly credit reports and daily unapplied cash reports.
  • Oversee and process databases that are set-up for workflow efficiencies – Cash With Applications, Credit Card monthly installments and Refunds, Off-Sets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Required Skills:

  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients via phone and e-mail
  • Data entry and solid mathematical skills
  • Computer experience with the Microsoft office suite products (Word, Excel)
  • Accounting knowledge, reconciliation experience helpful
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize work with attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within a team, but also independently with minimal supervision

Minimum Required Education / Experience

  • 1 + years of office experience in customer service, accounting or finance work related experience.
  • Experience in researching and resolving client transactions helpful

Education:

  • High School

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $35,000 to $43,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
