Tomra of North America Inc, an International Recycling Company, is looking to hire full time Inventory Control Specialist/Dock Checker employees in Lancaster, NY.

1st shift - $19.00/Hour

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our Dock Checker associates play a critical role in meeting our daily business demands. Dock associates are responsible for witnessing the process and sampling the amount of beverage containers being unloaded from tractor trailers, to ensure accuracy. The position is labor intensive and aided by the use of pallet jacks and forklifts.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must pass pre-employment screening and physical.
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, kneel, twist, for duration of an eight-hour shift
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to work occasional overtime on weekends to meet business demands
  • Not afraid to work hard and get dirty

Additional requirements (preferred):

  • Previous warehouse lead experience (preferably in recycling/beverage industry)
  • Basic /math skill
