# Store Leader – Wolf Den Gaming

## Position Summary

As the Store Leader at Wolf Den Gaming, you are responsible for creating an exceptional experience for every customer who walks through our doors. You will lead all aspects of store operations, including sales, staffing, inventory management, events, community engagement, merchandising, and customer service. This role requires a passion for trading card games, tabletop gaming, and building a welcoming environment where players, collectors, and families feel at home.

The Store Leader serves as the face of Wolf Den Gaming and directly influences the success of our retail business and gaming community. This position supervises store associates and works closely with ownership to drive growth, maintain operational excellence, and deliver world-class customer experiences.

## Key Responsibilities

### Community & Customer Experience

- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging environment for players, collectors, and hobby enthusiasts.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure all team members consistently exceed customer expectations.
- Build lasting relationships with customers through product knowledge, event participation, and community engagement.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
- Promote a culture that encourages repeat visits and long-term community growth.

### Sales & Product Knowledge

- Lead by example through active selling and customer engagement.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Disney Lorcana, Star Wars Unlimited, and other supported TCGs.
- Recommend products, accessories, events, and services that enhance the customer experience.
- Drive sales goals through effective merchandising, promotions, and community initiatives.
- Monitor product trends, releases, and local market demand.

### Team Leadership

- Recruit, hire, train, and develop high-performing team members.
- Schedule staff to ensure excellent customer service while maximizing operational efficiency.
- Conduct coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing development conversations.
- Foster accountability, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure all staff are knowledgeable about products, events, policies, and procedures.

### Event & Community Management

- Oversee the execution of tournaments, prereleases, leagues, learn-to-play events, and community gatherings.
- Ensure events run smoothly, professionally, and on schedule.
- Work with staff and judges to provide a positive player experience.
- Help grow attendance and participation across all gaming communities.
- Coordinate promotional activities and community outreach efforts.

### Operations & Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate inventory controls across all sales channels.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with ownership.
- Protect company assets through strong inventory management and loss prevention practices.
- Ensure the store remains clean, organized, safe, and professionally merchandised.
- Oversee cash handling, daily reconciliations, and POS accuracy.
- Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies, shortages, and operational concerns.

### Business Operations

- Manage daily store operations with a focus on profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Execute merchandising plans and maintain attractive product displays.
- Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities for growth.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, social media engagement, and promotional campaigns.

- Tournament organizer, judge, or event management experience.
- Knowledge of TCGPlayer, Shopify, inventory systems, and online order fulfillment.
- Experience with social media, community management, or local marketing initiatives.
