Job description

EPI Power is looking for an experienced Material Control Lead - Warehouse to join their team. This crucial role is responsible for overseeing warehouse and yard operations that support large-scale data center construction projects. The Material Control Lead ensures materials are received, stored, tracked, and distributed accurately and efficiently to maintain project schedules and productivity.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership experience in warehouse or construction logistics environments and is open to relocating for future project needs.
This role requires the ability to work 6 days per week, typically Monday - Saturday.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and supervise daily warehouse and yard operations
  • Coordinate receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution of electrical materials and equipment
  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking and material documentation
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Project Management, and Field Leadership to support project schedules
  • Maintain material logs, delivery records, and inventory reports
  • Monitor material usage to prevent shortages, delays, or overstock
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of high-value electrical components
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Support material forecasting and manpower planning
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For:
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in material control, warehouse supervision, or construction logistics required
  • Experience supporting large construction or data center projects preferred
  • Electrical construction background is a plus

Skills:
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, and material lists
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment

Technology:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with inventory management or material tracking systems preferred
  • Ability to learn specific job-related software upon hire
