Summary

The Inventory Control & Quality Assurance (ICQA) Supervisor leads the warehouse's inventory accuracy and quality assurance functions to ensure inventory integrity, order accuracy, and operational excellence. This position oversees inventory control, quality audits, process compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while leading a team responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, reducing defects, and supporting exceptional customer service. The ICQA Supervisor partners closely with Operations, IT, Purchasing, Merchandising, Inbound Operations (IB), Safety, Human Resources, and external auditors to improve warehouse performance, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain inventory integrity, and foster a safe, productive work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily Quality Assurance and Inventory Control operations.
  • Conduct inventory audits and ensure inventory accuracy throughout the warehouse.
  • Investigate inventory variances, shipping errors, and quality issues to determine root causes.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and reduce recurring errors.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and department performance metrics.
  • Prepare and distribute quality, inventory, and error reports to management.
  • Coordinate staffing needs and daily workload assignments with department management.
  • Crosstrain employees and provide coverage for key operational positions when necessary.
  • Monitor safety processes and equipment inspections.
  • Maintain required training records, certifications, and safety documentation.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and employee development.
  • Perform administrative duties including attendance, scheduling, overtime, and employee breaks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve inventory accuracy, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with Q.C. Purchasing and Merchandising teams to ensure vendor compliance and product quality.

  • Experience in using warehouse management systems and inventory software preferred.
