Job SummaryThis position is responsible for ensuring continued and increased growth by negotiating renewals or selling products and services to existing customers, understanding customer needs, and providing customer support. Ability to travel.
Job Requirements
*General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO State Insurance License.
*6 years as a group health insurance account executive OR combination of 4 years group health insurance account executive experience and 2 years' experience in claims, customer service, managed health care experience in a role requiring self-direction, initiative, and decision making and analysis OR Bachelor degree and four years' experience as a group health insurance account executive.
*Thorough knowledge of managed care products (HMO, PPO), Funding Types (FI, ASO and TPA), processes and trends.
*Experience with complex accounts.
*Leadership and mentoring skills.
*Ability to travel.
*Experience addressing customer needs, making sound decisions and building strong customer relations.
*Experience analyzing reports and financial information; possess analytical and financial analysis skills.
*Written and verbal communications skills; negation skills, and presentation skills.
Preferred Job Requirements
*Bachelor's degree.
