Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Identity Management in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and communicating professionally with residents, guests, and team members. You will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and help deter incidents through attentive access control. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, vendors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with community procedures.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, delivery, and/or incident logs and communicate relevant access-related information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
