Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service while responding professionally to security-related needs. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, parking areas, patient care corridors, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
