Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Morgue Patrol in Grove City, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine rounds. You will deliver strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and driven by integrity.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting observed activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, with attention to unusual activity and/or unsecured areas.
  • Assist with access control activities by monitoring entrances, checking identification when required, and helping to follow visitor and/or contractor procedures.
  • Support a healthcare environment by helping to maintain an orderly atmosphere, providing directions and assistance, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals when required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
