As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol Guard in Charlotte, NC at Amazon Warehouse, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift while putting people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and report unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations through established reporting channels.
  • Support daily operations by observing activity in high-traffic areas, assisting with directional needs, and completing assigned reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and/or site concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
